Charles Milton Lang

Charles Milton Lang, 90, of Houston, Texas, passed away on April 12, 2017. He was born to the late Arthur and Ada Lang on August 2, 1926 in Quincy, MA. He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Betty; two sons; and multiple grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Charles is a veteran of the United States Army serving during WWII. He was a member of Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church for many years and was very active in multiple ministries including foreign missions, Stephen Ministries, and others. Charles had many achievements during his life that included President of Houston Independent Automobile Association and President of Sharpstown Civic Association. He was a graduate of the University of Texas. Charles loved the outdoors and was a member of the Texas Forestry Association, often spending time in Crockett, Texas at his tree farm. Among his other endeavors, he was a sheep and cattle rancher operating a sprawling family ranch outside of Eden, Texas from his home in Houston. His greatest passion in life was serving GOD through the church he so dearly loved.
A Graveside Service will be held at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Drive Houston, Texas 77038 at 10:30 a.m. A Memorial Service will take place on April 18, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church, 11612 Memorial Drive, Houston, Texas 77024.
