Ruth Eleanor Sattem, 92, died January 1, 2012 in Houston, Texas. She was born November 29, 1919 in Chicago, Illinois. She is survived by her husband, Ralph; daughters, Elaine Petranek and husband Richard of Houston, Texas, and Nadine Schweitzer and husband Larry of LaGrange, Illinois; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 6:15 p.m. Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Treemont Retirement Center, 2501 Westerland Drive, Houston, Texas 77063.
