Phyllis Jo Lander Smith, born December 14, 1932 passed away December 13, 2011. She is preceded in death by her husband, Archie Ray Smith. She is survived by daughter, Wendy Smith Robertson and husband Daniel; son, Adam Smith and wife Janet; grandchildren, Meredith Howell, Matthew Robertson, Cayla Smith, Courtney Schroder, and Jennifer Tyson; great-grandchildren Zoe Cox, Elliot Howell, and Alyvia Harden. Phyllis worked at Walter Heath Insurance for 50 years as a bookkeeper. She was also a licensed minister at Bellaire Christian Church and Bethany Christian Church. A Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 19, 2011 at Bethany Christian Church, 3223 Westheimer, Houston, TX 77098, church office number (713) 523-1609. Following the service, visitation with the family will be in the parlor. |
