Gerardo Jacob Jager Contreras, 58, of Houston, passed away December 14, 2011 surrounded by his family. He leaves behind his loving wife of 18 years, Nancy de Jager; daughters Paula Jager, Karla Jager & Natalia Jager; two grandchildren; sister, Marcela Jager; and a host of other loving family members & friends.

A Memorial Service honoring his life will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, December 17, 2011 in the Miller Funeral Chapel with Father Wayne Wilkerson officiating. A reception will follow in the Celebration of Life House.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to Dr. Ana Leech and her remarkable staff at Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospice for their compassion during Gerardo's last days, which allowed him to maintain his comfort and dignity. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously suggests that memorial contributions in Gerardo's name be made to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospice, or to the charity of your choice.
