Walter James Price

Walter James Price passed away peacefully on September 14, 2017 at 92 years of age. Jim was born on December 1, 1924 in Whitakers, NC. He served his country faithfully during World War II as a co-pilot of a B-17 bomber in Italy and Germany. Jim earned his Chemical Engineering degree from North Carolina State University.
He spent many years building various chemical processing plants in all parts of the world including Iran, Iraq, Algeria, Nigeria and Louisiana as well as many others. He was privileged to work with many outstanding people throughout his career, many who remained friends throughout the years. For the last 5 years, he lived within the community at The Forum at Memorial Woods with many new friends.
Jim was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Evelyn and son, James David Price. He is survived by his sons, William Gregory and his wife, Theresa, and Robert Alan; grandchildren, Ryan Price, Kyle Price, Andie Price and Asher Price; sister, Sarah Neal; her children, Kathy Curran and Kimberly Clarke.
A Remembrance Service will be held on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Friendship Court of Memorial Drive United Methodist Church, 12955 Memoial Drive, Houston, Texas 77079.
