Guyleene (GiGi) Harmon EbersoleJanuary 04, 1941 - March 31, 2011 Online Obituaries
Guyleene Harmon Ebersole (also known as GiGi), 70, of Houston, Texas, transitioned unexpectedly to eternity last week at her home. Guyleene’s greatest joy was in her pride for her children and grandchildren and her adoration for her cat, BiBi. Guyleene had many passions including her love for reading, learning, and playing bridge. She was a Life Master in American Contract Bridge League. She also believed in civic responsibility and spent many hours registering voters and working elections. Guyleene was born on January 4, 1941. She graduated from Longview High School and attended Kilgore College where she was a member of the Rangerettes. She earned an undergraduate degree and MBA from the University of St. Thomas in Houston, TX and was a Certified Public Accountant. Guyleene is preceded in death by her parents, Guy and Anna Belle Harmon. She is survived by her sister and brother-in-law, Sandra and John Krabiel of Reno, NV; her brother, Freddy Harmon, of Longview, TX, her children and spouses: Ross and Debbie Florey, of Nashville, TN, Rachel Florey Reichenbach, of Minneapolis, MN, and Jason and Christi Florey, of Austin, TX; ten grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Gathering will be held from 10:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m., Monday, April 18, 2011 in the Miller Celebration of Life Room, 7723 Beechnut, Houston, TX 77074. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the American Cancer Society or League of Women Voters. |
