Mary was born July 11, 1930 in Fort Worth, Texas to Alice Mae & Lee Williams. She was raised by her mom and graduated from Paschal High School in Fort Worth. Mary worked and retired as a Licensed Insurance Adjuster for American General Insurance after twenty five years of service.

She was a devout Christian and a member of Alief Community Church for over twenty years.

Mary was also an active member of the Order of Eastern Star in Fort Worth and Houston. She moved from Fort Worth to Houston in the early 90s to be closer to her family.

Mary is survived by her daughter, Debra L. Roberts and her husband Wayne Roberts; granddaughters, Alisha I. Roberts of Houston Texas and Taryn L. Roberts of Midland, Texas.

Mary’s interests included time with friends, helping her family however she could and collecting Santa Clauses and Christmas Villages from around the world.  She loved playing forty-two, bingo and Rummikub with her friends. She also had her collection of bobble head figurines on her window sill that brought her enjoyment while gazing out her windows.

She was known for her love of family and friends and generously giving however she could.

Through difficult times, with various health issues, Mary’s love for her family and her love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, never wavered.  She went home to be with Him on July 31, 2017.
