Obituary for Edward Dean Pavlicek

Ed was born to parents Edward and Clara Ard Pavlicek on December 2, 1927 in Chanute, Kansas.
He served in the United States Marine Corp in the Asiatic Pacific in World War II. He attended Chanute Jr. College and University of Oklahoma. Ed married his wife Phyllis Starliper Pavlicek on December 24, 1949 on a school break. He had three children. He worked for Sperry Sun and its later affiliations. His travels lead him from Kansas, to Oklahoma, Louisiana, Colorado, Wyoming, Alaska and finally Houston before he did international travel with the company.
Ed is survived by his wife of 68 years, Phyllis; daughters, Cheryl Pavlicek, Betty Multop; son, Michael Pavlicek and wife Jennifer; four grandchildren, Chris Multop and wife Mariel, Dawn Herron and her husband Creston, Susan Houston and husband Patrick, Clayton Pavlicek; five great-grandchildren, Matheson and Evangeline (Evie) Multop, Charlie and Sophie Houston and Eloise (Ellie) Herron.
He led a full and generous life and he shall be missed and loved by all.
