Ted Garcia

Ted Garcia has 25 years of experience as a bilingual licensed funeral director, embalmer, crematory operator, and pre-arrangement counselor. A native Texan who honorably served in the U.S. Army then enrolled and graduated from Commonwealth College of Funeral Service in 1990. He has been involved in all aspects of the funeral profession throughout his lengthy career. As an integral part of the team for over 10 years, Ted is an active partner in the business, serving as our general manager. Also, a member of the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce he participates in different organizations.

Emily A. Forsythe

Emily A. Forsythe graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service in 2010. Emily spent only three years at B.F. Terry High School in Rosenberg, TX before earning her diploma. She started with Miller in 2010 as a provisional licensed funeral director who has advanced to our office manager. Emily has 7 years of experience as a funeral director, and also as a licensed crematory operator, and pre-arrangement counselor. She is well versed in information technology and is a valuable asset to the team. She participates in our marketing and networking details and is a member of PWEG.

Kate M. Higginbotham

Kate M. Higginbotham is a native Houstonian who joined the Miller team in 2012 as an office assistant. During her time here she has become a licensed pre-arrangement counselor. Kate graduated from Commonwealth Institute of Funeral Service and is our provisional licensed funeral director who plans to become our newest licensed funeral director in 2016. She has also become a licensed crematory operator during her time here. Kate is an indispensable part of our daily operations.
