Patsy Ann Wise Piner born on March 11, 1949 in Georgetown, Kentucky to Leo Phillip Wise and Betty Gaines Leach Wise. Patsy graduated from Princeton High School in 1967. She attended Georgetown College and Western Kentucky University. Patsy married the love of her life, Bradford Lee Piner, in Cincinnati, Ohio in 1968. The marriage to Brad brought three blessings Lea, Becky, and Scott. She was an amazing Aunt to Mark, Vickie, Jeff, Tom, Homer, Kent, Ann and numerous great nieces and nephews and great-great nieces and nephews. They each felt like they were her favorite.

In 1982 the Piner family moved to Simonton, Texas. Shortly after moving to Texas her mother, Betty Wise, was admitted to Hospice in Cincinnati, Ohio. It was because of that experience Patsy found her true calling and went to work for Houston Hospice for over 20 years. During her time at Houston Hospice she touched so many lives as Manager of Volunteer Services. She also found some of her closest friends at work. She loved every moment of working at Hospice. She and Ruth were the dynamic duo or double trouble, depending on who you spoke to.

Patsys greatest joy in life were her six grandchildren, Nicolas, Cole, Lauren, Ty, Presley, and Josh. She spent countless hours driving all over the state to see her grandchildren and was always willing to do whatever she could for them. She loved spending one on one time with each of them, especially during birthdays and the trips to the dollar store for Christmas shopping for the family.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her in-laws, sister-in-law and two brother-in- laws. She is survived by her children, Lea and Rigo Chapa of Richmond, Texas; Becky and Mark Hickman of Katy, Texas; Scott and Debbi Piner of Kellar, Texas; six grandchildren Nicolas Chapa, Cole Chapa, Lauren Fendley, Ty Fendley, Presley Piner, and Josh Piner. Sister-in-law Betty Owen of Alexandria, Kentucky; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
