George Milton Craddock, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and good friend to many, passed away on May 12, 2018 at the age of 76 with his family at his side.

Born and raised in Austin, TX George worked at KTBC-TV while attending the University of Texas at Austin until going on active duty as a U.S. Navy Medic assigned to Midway Island. George volunteered in youth sports, primarily baseball (coach and umpire) and as a coach in football and ice hockey, HOA board member, and volunteered with CERT and Houston Methodist Hospital.

He was a kind-hearted man with a delightful sense of humor. He enjoyed conversations with people of all walks of life especially about sports, politics, and history.

George is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Michaelene; sons, David and wife Jen, Carey and wife Nicole; cherished grand-daughter, Hope; sister, Dorothy Jo Hardwick.
The family will gather for a private remembrance at a later date.

We express our appreciation to the Houston Methodist Hospital Lung Transplant team for 12 years of care and compassion.
