Susan Marie (Krull) Kennedy left this earth on October 4, 2018. To her family, she is all that is good, all that is home, all that is love. She has always been patient and gentle, showering unlimited love on family and friends. She was an amazing artist, spending hours upon hours in her studio and kitchen creating beautiful works of art, and sharing those talents with her sisters and grandchildren. You could feel her gentleness through the works of her hands, taste it in her cooking and see it in her gardens. We count our blessings to have had such a perfect mother, sister, wife, aunt and friend in Susan. She was many things to many people, but most of all, love. We celebrate that she is now cancer-free, and joining her loved ones in Heaven. Susan was born August 17, 1954 in Crete, Nebraska, the firstborn daughter of Omer W. and Elizabeth A. (Smejkal) Krull.
She is survived by her devoted husband of 45 years, Donald L. Kennedy; daughter and son-in-law, Gina and David Arrington of Missouri City; son and daughter-in-law, Nick and Gayani Kennedy of Austin; 8 grandchildren, Kennedy and Parker Swift, Charles Aronowitz, and Emma and Jack Arrington of Missouri City, and Nishan, Ravin and Nimali Kennedy of Austin. She is also survived by three brothers, three sisters, and numerous nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Services will be held at 11:00am on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at St. Angela Merici Catholic Church, 9009 Sienna Ranch Rd, Missouri City, TX 77459. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to MD Anderson Cancer Center, or the charity of your choice. It’s impossible for us to say goodbye to such an exceptional woman. We will see you again. We all love you endlessly.
